David Coaker is a stipendiary minister serving within the United Reformed Church. He was ordained in 2004 serving in Warrington, then Leyland and Penwortham from 2009, and currently part-time with Grays URC in Essex. Through his preparation for ministry he was introduced to the writings of Keith Ward, Matthew Fox, and Jack Spong and has since devoured the books of Marcus Borg and Dominic Crossan. He seeks to live out, preach and support others on the progressive path.
