Open Table celebrate their 15th birthday

This year Open Table celebrate 15 years of their first community and 8 years of being a network.

The Open Table network has organised two events to celebrate, the More Than Equal conference in Cambridge and a communion service at St. Bride's Liverpool.

In June 2008, six people gathered at the first Open Table service with a vision to start a regular communion service for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Fifteen years later, the Liverpool community hosts around 50 people each month, and more than 30 other communities now meet across England and Wales, hosting hundreds more each month, and reaching thousands online. That initial group has become a network and a registered charity.

Open Table Network and PCN Britain work together as part of the Power of Partnership group and we send our congratulations to the Open Table Network on reaching this milestone.
