We are a small group of about 12 individuals of varied ages and backgrounds, mostly from south Manchester, Stockport and north east Cheshire. Denominational links include Methodist, Anglican, Quaker, Unitarian and none - all are welcome!
Venue & Meeting Times
Meetings take place generally on the evening of the 4th Wednesday of the month and are held at Heaton Moor United church, Stanley Rd, Stockport SK4 4HL, usually in the upstairs coffee lounge. We begin at 7:30 pm with a drink and chat and aim to conclude around 9:00 pm.
There are no meetings in July, August or December.
(Note the link in the website area [red box top right]- which was done for the map - refers to Heaton Moor United church and not specifically to PCN)
The group started some 6 or 7 years ago at St Agnes, Reddish under the inspiration of the vicar, Clive Larsen. “Living the Questions” and “Saving Jesus” courses were followed, primarily for members of the congregation there, but we have since felt the need to move on whilst remaining within the area. One of our members suggested that the church he attended might be able to offer suitable facilities, so we have re-located quite successfully to Heaton Moor.
