Political life in the UK and elsewhere is changing more rapidly and dramatically than at any point since the end of the Cold War. Political values – such as the importance of truth in political discourse – have come under increasing strain as public confidence in politicians and in political life has deteriorated. What can the theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer do to help us think and act truthfully in political life?
