CAN SCHOOLS HELP TO PREVENT RELIGIOUS TERRORISTS ?

We fear the 'Radicalisation' of young people in particular and government now expects our teachers (even in primary schools) to be on the lookout for speech and thinking that shows signs of this. But, how can teachers prevent the growth of young extremists ? If religion is regarded as a set of beliefs that stand for absolute truth, what kind of good teaching can prevent that developing into extreme intolerance ? Should we indeed also expect education to develop thinking which is critical of the establishment and of society in order to improve it for future generations ? Where do we draw the line, since the authorities in the New Testament regarded Jesus as a threat to their society ? In a very crowded curriculum, how much time and space is there for this anyway ?
