‘Significant Chaos’ - a talk by Michael Paterson

We are looking forward to a return visit to Edinburgh PCN by Michael Paterson, who is going to speak to us about 'Significant Chaos'. Michael is always challenging and stimulating, and is likely to move us beyond our comfort zone! All are, as always, welcome. Tea and coffee will be available from 7.15p.m.

He works throughout the world, lecturing in theological colleges in the UK, Canada and the United States, but is primarily concerned with the renewal of congregational worship at the grass roots level. Faith in Search of Understanding Today

One charge often levelled at liberal-progressive approaches to Christianity is that they are heavy on what is no longer believable about traditional forms, but light on alternative interpretations. In response, we need to move beyond criticism to embrace the task of conceiving intellectually-engaging and spiritually-satisfying expressions of faith capable of shaping our living and informing our commitments.
