The Cross

The world appears in turmoil; some feel populist movements like Brecit and Trumpism are the answers whilst others feel these are merely symptoms of a greater problem. During this event we will look at the crucifixion and see if that can provide any answers in the 21st century. Through video, poetry, discussion and music we will put the death of Jesus into context and examine how it can speak to us today.

Where Love Is The Way:  The Jesus Movement Now - Michael Curry

Jesus came to earth, Michael Curry says, to show us God’s dream for the world: the dream of a world where no child suffers, no one goes to bed hungry, no one is abandoned and alone: a world where love is the way. He came to start a movement, not to found a religion, and the Jesus Movement has the power to turn the world upside down.
