Senior Content Manager - St Paul's Adult Learning Department
You could have responsibility for a key part of the Christian mission of St Paul’s Cathedral
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week £37,620 - £39,600 per annum
St Paul’s Cathedral’s Adult Learning Department runs a busy programme of public events at the cathedral exploring the challenges, joys and contradictions of being a Christian in the 21st century.
The programme’s remit is Christian formation for laypeople, and events focus on prayer, spirituality, theology, doctrine, arts, creativity and ethics. The programme currently consists of about 30 events per year, with scope to expand the programme for new audiences. The Senior Content Manager is a new role within this growing department and area of the cathedral’s work, and will be responsible for researching and originating the individual events and programme as a whole. This is an exciting and unusual opportunity for the right person to shape the future development of the cathedral’s Christian formation work. The successful candidate will hold substantial knowledge and understanding of Christian theology, spirituality, doctrine and ethics, along with a successful track-record of organising public events. This is a position which bears responsibility for a key part of the Christian mission of St Paul’s Cathedral and therefore has a genuine occupational requirement for a person of Christian faith. We particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic candidates, who are currently under-represented in our organisation at this level.
The closing date for applications is 24th February 2019 and interviews will be held on 11th March 2019.
