I recommend watching this excellent informative and challenging video interview. Particularly good at bringing out the lack of transparency in Churches about where they really stand on inclusivity and challenging what it really means. The notion of belonging seemed a good way to overcome the power inbalance in the process. This would be good to share in Churches currently discussing change , particularly Anglican ones who will be presented with the findings of the Living in Love and Faith exercise later this year. Senior Clergy should certainly watch before presenting laity with ‘teaching’ documents. They may have more to learn first.
