PCN at Greenbelt
Our 9th year at Greenbelt
PCN Britain were once more at the Greenbelt Festival to talk to the many festival-goers about our work, about the church, about God ,and anything else in which people wished to engage!
What’s not to like about Greenbelt? There were 18,000 happy campers, caravanners and those (like me) who sloped off to a B and B for the nights. The weather was (generally) kind, the talks and music, activities and traders all contributed to a great few days. Our main purpose was to talk with passers-by and we did in great numbers. People couldn’t miss our banner with its arresting challenge - Ditch the Dogma , Live the Life! We gave away copies of Progressive Voices and our colourful leaflets and nobody took any objection to our Eight Points, rather they wholeheartedly approved!
Greenbelt is both fun and spiritually refreshing with a line-up of compelling speakers such as Vicky Beeching and John Bell. If you can help on the Greenbelt stall next year let us know now so we can begin to plan for Greenbelt 2019. And help us spread the word about progressive Christianity.
