PCN Britain at the Devon County Show

PCN Britain at the Devon County Show

For the first time, PCN Britain is to have a stall at a county show, thanks to the enthusiasm of members in Devon.

The Exeter group is having a stall in the Devon County Show Churches ‘tent’ (actually a barn and marquee) this year, on May 19th, 20th and 21st. Volunteers from the Exeter group have offered to staff the stall from early morning until close of the show each day, two by two, to allow for breaks.

They will engage with visitors in a tactful way and take part in the daily worship each morning at 9 am. The churches’ presence there is a longstanding tradition and ecumenical in organisation, but there has not been a PCN or similar group representation before. The PCN Britain committee has encouraged us to do this and will supply resources for it.

We will ask people to sign up to our mailing list if they are interested in local events, or starting their own group, as well as membership of PCN Britain. There is a cafe within the marquee too. We will also supply information about the Tavistock and Cornwall groups’ programmes.

Do come and see us there if you are visiting the Show - we would love to see you!
