Can you help PCN Britain fulfil its potential?
Nominations are being invited for the role of PCN trustee. At least two places will be available on the committee.
Being a PCN trustee makes you part of the team which steers the life of PCN Britain. The role is both stimulating and influential. On the one hand you will be part of key discussions about the role of PCN and what it means to be progressive. At the same time you may bring a particular area of interest or expertise.
If you’d like to put yourself forward to join our friendly team under the leadership of our chair, Adrian Alker, please fill in the Nomination form, which is available as the news download below. For more information on the role please contact our chair, Adrian, 07595249791, firstname.lastname@example.org
“Voluntary organisations thrive when there is an enthusiastic team of people acting as trustees or as a management committee or an advisory council. PCN Britain is no exception and we are fortunate to have such a team of trustees. Inevitably trustees do come and go depending on their other commitments and personal circumstances. This year we sadly are bidding farewell as trustees to Pat Fuller and Maureen Foxall and we are grateful for all their dedication over past years.
And so we are hoping to welcome some new trustees and the Annual Meeting in Bolton on March 17th is the occasion when we elect existing trustees whose term of office is due for re-election together with new trustees. May I encourage all our members to consider putting themselves forward for nomination?
The trustees meet four times a year, two of those occasions being for 24 hours, an overnight stay at Swanwick and two being Saturday daytime meetings, usually in Birmingham and York. All travel and accommodation expenses are paid. Over to you!”
The election will take place at the AGM on the 17th March, further details of the day can be found here.
Nominations must be received by Saturday 3rd March.
