Church schools better than average, or should all education be secular? Two nineteenth-century thinkers may help us to engage with such questions. Dr Guillaume Groen van Prinsterer was a Dutch political scholar. Miss Charlotte Mason was a Welsh-born innovator in education. What could they possibly have in common? Come and find out!
