For three months he accompanied Palestinians as they went about their daily lives in the town of Hebron. He was there to observe any harassment by the Israeli military or settlers. Hebron is of particular interest on account of its great significance to both Jewish and Muslim religions. That history still has a very direct impact on the day to day lives of many people there.

The checkpoint serves to separate the upper part of the street – where Israeli security forces permit Palestinians to travel on foot, but not by car and not to open stores – and the lower section which is prohibited even to Palestinian pedestrians.
