The Rev. Richard Tetlow comes from a background of professional social care and community work. He followed this with being vicar of the struggling inner-city community of Ladywood in Birmingham, from 1989-2008. In retirement he was until recently a trustee of PCN Britain and actively convenes PCN Birmingham and two interfaith groups, one on mental health and the other on ‘progressive faith’. He hopes his lifelong Christian loyalty enables him to foster good, especially theological, relationships with members of different faiths. The insights he has gained have encouraged him to write a book on “Perceptions of Christianity from People of Different Faiths”. It shows how Christians can listen and learn ‘to see ourselves as others see us’ – the book’s sub-title - and what he has learnt about himself and others on his own interfaith journey. The book will be available.
