Start Date:
Monday 25th February 2019
Start Time:
St. Mary's Church Centre, Albrighton
David Wood, Convener
Everyone who wishes to
Usual £2 subscription

It will be a ‘Progressive Hymn Evening’ and you are asked to bring along (if you wish) an example of a hymn with words you regard as ‘progressive’. Many of us find the words of some hymns difficult to sing in terms of their meaning or imagery - though we still enjoy singing them!
Hymns can be just the words or recorded sung by a church choir. There will be a mixture of examples because the group represents traditional Anglican, Methodist, Unitarian, retired Baptist and other.
I have a large number of recorded hymns, Anglican and Unitarian, and will bring some examples with me to play. If you have a hymn you might like to suggest then let me know and I’ll see if I have it in my collection.
The meeting is open to anyone interested - you do not have to be a member of PCN or our group.
