Cardiff PCN group are pleased to announce that our guest speaker on Monday 27th November will be Adrian Alker.

Adrian is the chair of PCN (you didn’t need me to tell you that). A retired Church of England priest, Adrian spent twenty years serving at St Marks, Broomhill, Sheffield and went on to become Director of Mission Resourcing for the Anglican Diocese of West Yorkshire and The Dales. He recently authored the book ‘Is A Radical Church Possible?’

The title for Adrian’s talk at Cardiff is ‘Partners or Protagonists?’. “I will try to examine three ‘border areas’ which might be seen as offering positive insights into how a progressive Christian faith can be in partnership with others, as opposed to a negative relationship.” Adrian explains, “The three boundaries are between; Humanism and Theism, Christianity and a World of Other Faiths and Ideologies, Religion and Secularism.”

As always the group will meet at:
Pontprennau Community Church
Heol Pontprennau

We start at 7:30 pm and finish around 9:00

Sincerely,

Andy Long
