An online event jointly hosted by the University of Brighton Faith & Spirituality team and the University of Sussex Chaplaincy as part of Interfaith Week and marking Armistice Day. With speaker Vera Bernstein from the charity G2G - Generation 2 Generation to speak to us about her Jewish family’s experiences during World War II.

Although via the University the event is open to all. The presentation will begin at 7.30 pm with opportunities for questions and feedback following the talk. It is incredibly moving to hear a personal account from the lips of a family member. Please contact us for Zoom link info and to book your place G2G was formed in order to train the children, grandchildren and close friends of Holocaust survivors to present the memories of their relatives or friends, many of whom have either died or are now in their 80s and 90s. They feel that it is vital that those experiences should not be forgotten and their aim is to promote a clear message of tolerance and understanding for the generations of the future.
