We are a group of people from several churches, and some from none who meet together to explore what it means to have a Christian faith in the twenty-first century. We offer an open and welcoming space to those who would like to do the same. Attenders come from a wide area around the north east.
We like to share food while we talk and ask those coming to bring a small amount of finger food to share
Venue & Meeting Times
We meet at St Thomas the Martyr’s Church, Haymarket, Newcastle, usually on the second Tuesday of the month, at 7.30pm. We take a collection to cover the cost of using the church.
The group began meeting in February, 2012, after the former convenor, Pat Fuller, moved to Newcastle from Lincolnshire, where she had been a member of a PCN group. There wasn’t one in Newcastle so she started one. At present there are 25 people on the mailing list, from as far apart as Consett, Hexham, Morpeth, North Shields, Newcastle and Corbridge. We are hoping to connect with the Middlesborough group and the Berwick Group in the new year, to organise a North East of England conference.
