Singing Hymns Again For the First Time!
Tired of some of the outmoded hymns with their dubious theology? Unimpressed with some of the happy-clappy songs on offer? You enjoy a good tune and an inspirational hymn? Well this day is for you! The day starts with PCN’s annual meeting.
- Start Date:
- Saturday 17th March 2018
- Start Time:
- St Andrew and St George URC Bolton BL1 2BS
- Sarah Guilfoyle

- Inspired by PCN members, under the musical direction of Andy Thomas and Ann Padget
Under the guidance of two experienced musicians we shall hear and enjoy singing a selection of songs and hymns and sharing some theological reflection which will give us fresh hope! Andy Thomas was a member of St Marks Broomhill where he was Director of Music before taking up the same role at St Johns Waterloo in London. Andy is a talented organist and also a superb choir teacher. Anne Padget is a trained singer and dramatist, a reader at St Marks Broomhill and now teaches choirs full time.
During the AGM we will be electing new Trustees. Any PCN member can stand for election and if this is something in which you would be interested you can find more information and the nomination form here.
