Setting Jesus Free - Where to now

This evening follows on from a Workshop run by John Churcher in July , also at Albrighton, and based on his book “Setting Jesus Free”. The Workshop generated much interest in progressive Christianity and this 14 October event is to provide a forum for discussing how we should take this interest forward in the East Shropshire/West Wolverhampton area

People attending will include members of local churches, particularly Anglican and Methodist, and including several of their clergy. Should we form a new group of PCN or is this an opportunity for a group, or groups, to be formed which would function in closer co-operation with established churches than would normally be the case
The evening will start with tea and coffee at 6.45. The meeting will start at 7pm with a brief summary of what John Churcher said at the Workshop and so people who did not attend the Workshop can come and take a full part in the discussions.
