The Liberal Democrat Christian Forum cordially invites you to our annual Gladstone Lecture, held in the Lloyd George Room of the National Liberal Club, in Westminster. We are delighted to announce our guest speaker this year is Revd. Canon Mark Oakley. Mark is the Dean of St John’s College, Cambridge, and former residentiary Canon of St Paul’s Cathedral. This year’s Gladstone Lecture is entitled “Poets, Prophets and Protestors: Liberty, Christianity and the Future”, which should be a fascinating look into the three strands of Mark’s interests in Politics, Poetry & Faith.

Our event begins with pre-lecture drinks at 6:30 followed by the Gladstone Lecture at 7pm. Tickets for this event are priced at £10. (Concession tickets are available, priced at £5 to insure this event is accessible to all our members)

After the Gladstone Lecture, there will be a dinner held in the Lady Violet Room at the National Liberal Club. This is a fund-raising dinner for the LDCF, where Mark Oakley, the LDCF Executive and other invited Peers & MPs will hopefully join us. This is an important fund-raising event for the LDCF, so your support would be most welcome. Pre-drinks, Lecture and Dinner is priced at £100. (We will offer a few concessionary tickets at cost price, but these tickets will be limited and sold on a first come, first served basis.​
