How can progressive Christian communities be people of The Way?

This is PCN Britain’s spring gathering and AGM. Most of the day will be spent interacting with Chris Howson, a mission priest based in Bradford, who will lead two sessions on being a Christian community in the 21st Century. Both members and non-members are welcome.

Chris Howson is a liberation theologian and author of A Just Church. His current Christian community, SoulSpace, is not a typical church. On their website they declare, “We want to find new ways of understanding what the ministry of Jesus means for us today. We strive to be an inclusive community, welcoming all people, regardless of gender, race or sexuality and we make efforts to grow in love and community with those of other faiths within Bradford.
Programme: Coffee and registration will be at 10.30 onwards. The AGM will start at 11.00 to which all are welcome.
Chris Howson’s first session will follow at 12.00 and his last session will start at after lunch at 2pm.
The conference will finish at 3.30pm.
