To celebrate LGBT History Month, the Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement invites members and friends to join them for a trip down memory lane, sharing memories and stories from 25 years of their time based at Oxford House in Bethnal Green. They’ve ventured into the attic and uncovered some artefacts from LGCM’s past - original copies of the gay press from the 1970s onwards, copies of our newsletters and magazines and their original membership register - telling the story of the gay rights movement in the church and society over this period.
Join them to look over the papers with a cup of tea and home-made cake, meet others and share your memories, and be inspired about the future. Says Tracey Byrne, “Whatever your age or your own story - we’d love to see you.”
