Richard Kearney

Richard Kearney is a prominent Continental philosopher of religion. He will talk about his book, “Anatheism: Returning to God after God.” (2009) Richard is a prolific scholar and artist, with more than 20 books on contemporary European philosophy, narrative theory, religion, and postmodern Christianity; he has also published two novels and a volume of poetry. He has been deeply involved in the Irish peace process, in international projects for peace, and in the promotion of spirituality through the arts; he currently teaches philosophy at Boston College.
