Mo originally studied Law at the University of Reading and later at the College of Law, London (now University of Law) for Postgraduate study. Shortly after this she began working for the Methodist Church as an Accommodation Officer within a busy Student Halls of Residence and multi-use Conference Centre in London.

In 2012 Mo began training for the Methodist Ministry,studying for a Theology Degree at the University of Cambridge (Trinity Hall) and completing Methodist formation training at Wesley House, Cambridge.

Mo was initially appointed as a full time Minister in Southend, Essex in 2014 with pastoral charge of two busy churches. Mo currently works as a Minister in Local Appointment in West Cornwall alongside her full-time occupation in Homelessness Prevention for a Cornish Charity.

Mo is passionate about making Progressive Christianity become a more visible presence within mainline churches and promoting resources which help people find a more open, inclusive, and undogmatic way to be Christian.
