Have journeyed a long way since then, and have been lucky in having had a fully ‘in tune’ travelling partner in my wife Jennie every step of the way - how many people have theological conversations just before putting the light out at night?! Sometimes I wonder how much more radical I can get, but love the church for what it should be and could be - though am trying to figure out the latter. I am a retired engineer, having finished with 22 years in the Middle East, where I had many interesting conversations with some lovely Moslem Arab friends - there again with some not so! O that all could realise we are not standing on the same position, and respect it. We could then share and benefit from each other’s spirituality.
