Brian is the grandson of Archbishop John A.F.Gregg, one of the great figures of the Anglican Church of Ireland. He is a scholar of Christ’s College, Cambridge, a teacher of Classics and Ancient History, and former headmaster of Campbell College, Belfast. He was a sometime member of CRAC, a former secretary to two PCC’s, and for twenty years a contributor to religious broadcasting on the BBC. As well as his Memoirs and Collected Broadcasts and Sermons, he has co-authored several source books in ancient history. He describes his discovery of PCN-B and the writings of Bishop John Shelby Spong as one of the more encouraging aspects of his faith journey.
