Although not perfect in every respect these congregations are open to a wide variety of people. We have celebrated the civil partnership of a couple of friends in our building, through a service following their civil registration. The congregations are open to people in many sorts of relationships – or not. The church meeting has approved “individuals, families, and households of all shapes and sizes are welcome” as the strap line to our publicity.
