The venue continues to be The Backhouse Room, Handside Lane, Welwyn Garden City [AL8 6TA]. All meetings take place on the third Sunday afternoon of the month, beginning at 4.00 p.m. and concluding with light refreshments at 5.00 p.m. Recent meetings have centred on ‘The Imam and the Pastor” dealing with the cooperation between Islam and Christianity in Nigeria [January]; Mary Magdala [‘Mary the Great One’ (status) rather than Mary of Magdala (geography): February]; Buddhism in Bhutan [March]. The summer programme is not yet complete but Diana Reddaway will lead us into discussing “God Dancing” for the June meeting [19th]. May 15th and July 17th to be confirmed.
