At our meeting on 6th November we started by remembering our good friend and member David Lunn-Rockcliffe, who died in August after a brief illness. David was a deeply thoughtful man and great supporter of PCN and similar organisations, taking part in energetic email discussions with us when he couldn’t get to meetings. We were surprised & pleased to discover more of his fascinating history from the obituaries in national newspapers. We will miss him.
The last meeting before Christmas will be Sunday December 4th, when we will discuss the fifth session of Saving Jesus.
Our group continues to flourish and we welcome an average of 20 people to each meeting. We have members of various denominations and none, and intend to pursue our series Pearls of Great Price next term with invitations to representatives of other faiths to share their ‘pearls’ with us. Exeter has a thriving Faith and Beliefs Forum to draw on.
