Hello there!

We have recently been working on a new forum for Progressive Christians to meet and discuss. It’s now gone live but we need members!

The forum is designed to be easy to read and navigate, there is even a mobile version to catch up on the go! We hope it will become a vibrant place for people to get resources, discuss and socialise.

Hope to see you there!

Matt

Matt is a newcomer to the PCN Britain forum and his progressivechristianity.co.uk forum appears also to be very new.  Certainly, we in PCN Britain had not heard of it before and we’ve asked Matt to tell us a little more about himself and his organisation.  Hopefully, he will keep us all posted.

Hi all,

I actually only came across these forums when looking to post a link on PCN Britain to my forum.

The forum is indeed very new but I hope it will become a vibrant place where people from all walks of life can discuss, learn and socialise. It’s not associated with any organisation and there are no charges, it’s free for anyone to use.

We are in no way trying to compete with PCN Britain, we think the work done here is great but our objectives are not the same. Whereas PCN Britain are providing resources for individuals in the field our forum is purely a means for Progressive Christians to meet and discuss on the web. I did find these forums quite hard to find, as I said I only came across them when trying to submit a link. So I hope our forum will provide a more prominent social tool for people to use. We also link to PCN Britain from our site for people looking for more resources and help in the community.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Yours in Christ,
Matt

Hi Alejandro

Yes you can post links in your message.  Unfortunately, we’ve had a lot of abuse of this facility, with people using links to sell anything from real estate to second hand cars.  If we see a commercial link we can only assume that the person posting it is not a serious member of our forum and so we will remove their membership and also their post to avoid wasting the time of genuine members.

Hope this helps
