Group Profile

About Us

We are a friendly group of, currently, about 16 people most of whom are church members and all of whom are interested in exploring Christian faith today, and in trying to express and live it. The meetings are informal and we try to enable everyone to contribute to the discussion if they so wish. Meetings and normally for a couple of hours on a weekday afternoon, and begin with tea or coffee and chat. Mutual support is as important to us as discussion and learning! New members are most welcome.

Venue & Meeting Times

Meetings are held bimonthly, in members' homes, currently in Bromsgrove, Hagley or Stourbridge, from 2.30.p.m. to about 4.30pm. Occasionally we may meet for longer, e.g. to include a bring and share meal. We have considered holding some evening meetings but there's not much support for this....at the moment.

Group History

The North Worcestershire Group was formed in the summer of 2011 from part of the former West Midlands group which was formed very early on by Revd. Anna Barnsley. As numbers have increased it has become necessary to split, forming separate Birmingham, East Shropshire and North Worcestershire groups. The three groups keep in touch and may meet socially or for a conference from time to time.
